Since we launched the John 1010 Project seven years ago, we’ve enjoyed the opportunity to annually produce and premiere a special Christmas video. This year, we’re going celebrate the season a little differently. During each of the four Sundays between today and December 21, we’ll feature an encore presentation of one of these short films. Let’s call it, “The Four Sundays of Christmas.”

Today’s featured video is near and dear to my heart. It’s a look back at Christmas Eve 1968, when the astronauts of Apollo 11 orbited the moon. As an estimated audience of a billion people in 64 countries watched on television screens throughout the world, Frank Borman, James Lovell, and William Anders, read verses from Genesis while transmitting incredible views of Earth from space. It was a night I’ll never forget.

We hope you enjoy MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM THE MOON, and look forward to sharing another seasonal short video with you next Sunday.
